The Foundation for Indigenous Kids is currently working with Kichwa, Shiwiar and Shuar communities in the Ecuadorian Amazon and the Salasaka community in the Andes.
Women’s Handcrafted Goods Co-Op
Women’s co-ops are recognized by the UN as having a positive impact on families and rural communities. The income earned by women in particular, goes to alleviate poverty, increase their standard of living and provide the children with school supplies.
RAINFOREST STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
This project provides scholarships for indigenous youth to attend a series of 10 week programs where they will learn English, technology and sustainable living skills.
COMMUNITY GARDENS
Providing healthy food and nutrition to indigenous communities based on organic farming and permaculture principles.
